I'm so excited to have my lil boy wear these John Deere cowboy boots....I love them!!!

It's probably good that we're having a boy seeing as these are all the baby clothes I bought before I knew what we were having......yes I really wanted a boy and Levi said the baby was going to wear camo even if it was a girl(just camping and stuff don't worry) but now we are definitely prepared for a little boy.....I need to start buying something besides camo now.

Baby pictures....

Well me and Levi were both wrong.....we both knew it was gonna be a girl, had a girl name picked out and everything, all the oldwives tales and the chinese lunar calendar said girl....but this little guy had different plans;) I guess he's been a surprise since the begining why not keep up the trend. We go in for our ultrasound from the doctor on Dec. 15th but I couldn't wait that long so we went to Fetal Studio in South Towne Mall and I loved it, the guy was super nice and took his time. We had to wake the little guy up, he was snoozin away hanging upside down like a monkey....it was so cute when he finally woke up he streched his lil arms and legs then tried to stand up but he's upside down so that didn't work. I hate that you only get two ultrasounds during pregnancy because they change so much, so fast. Oh, me and the lil guy are measuring a week ahead of what the doc told us so we might be havin a birthday around May 16th instead of the 22nd. Here's a cute picture of his profile....the guy had a hard time getting pictures because my uterus is tipped backwards so the babys facing my back, but I love this picture I could stare at it all day. Now we must get busy buying baby boy stuff and Levi is excited to buy more camo so the lil guy can go hunting next year.

Venting.....

I know I haven't blogged in forever but I have misplaced my camera and can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyways things are good, baby Hussey is good, my next appt is November 16th and time is going by so slow:( I love to look at the baby count down on the side of my blog...it makes me happy that my baby now has arms and legs, not just flippers:) Back to the real reason I'm blogging......how come people think that a pregnant womans belly needs to be rubbed? Seriously I'm not even 12 weeks yet and yes I have a gut but guess what its not my baby its just years of ranch dressing and Diet Coke people!!!! I'm not a dog I don't particularly enjoy a good belly rub now and then....its just weird. I've never been a touchy feely kinda person and I definitely have a space bubble that I don't like people to invade. We were at Cal Ranch last night and a friend of Levi's family came up to us and just started rubbing away and when I kinda pulled away and awkwardly said "Oh you're rubbing my gut" she went lower and said well yeah I guess its still down here isn't it.........HOLY CRAP!!!! You all should of seen the look on Levi's face as he tried to keep his raging pregnant wife from punching an old lady in the face. I know I'm probably over reacting and its not gonna be the last time some one rubs my belly but its my blog so I'm venting. Stay tuned for my next venting session about Walmart checkers who tell you their entire life story with no response from you at all......Oh and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

A new addition to the Hussey family and no its not a new pet:-)

So as most of you already know...Me and Levi are expecting our first baby on May 22nd:-) Just two days before our 2nd anniversary. We are so excited(well mostly still in shock and freaking out but thats kinda excited I guess). We went to our second doctors appointment yesterday and to tell ya the truth I was not going to believe I was pregnant until I saw pictures....well the evidence is now in and yes there is some sort of creature in there:-) When it first came up on the screen it kinda actually looked humanish and cute but then it did like a jelly bean sea monkey flop and turned away from us.....so the only pictures we got make our precious baby look like.....well a pinto bean mixed with some sort of alien, but we're still proud:-) We heard its little heart beat too...which was really fast, and according to Oldwives tales if the baby has a fast heart beat that means its a girl.....I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Little House on the Prairie

So Levi left me home alone this weekend....unsupervised with the debit card:{ And well I went to the antique store with no intention of buying anything but then I saw this.....and it totally made me flashback to the days of Little House on the Prairie. We only had like four tv channels growing up, so yes I was a fan of Ma, Pa, halfpint and the rest of the gang. In case you were not a fan, its a buckboard from like a horse drawn wagon...made into a bench. I couldn't resist....he shouldn't have left me home alone, its his fault:-) Oh and the greatest thing ever...the lady at the antique store no longer charges me tax....because I'm such an amazing customer...hopefully thats not like illegal, I don't really know. (and also I don't know how to spell prairie and every time I type it just looks weird, so hopefully its some what close)

Third times the charm....

Dwight didn't make it for some reason....I think it got too hot for him, I have terrible luck with rabbits, don't really know why I'm trying again...but I'm going to Midway tomorrow to pick up this guy...he's already 8 months old, maybe I'll have better luck with an older rabbit. Sidenote: If this one dies or gets stolen, I'm throwing in the towel!!

Help Me!!!!

So there's been a change in plans with the living room redo....I didn't go with the blue, I knew I wouldn't like it after it was done so I went paint shopping today and I found this color Mulling Spice its called........kinda looks more pumpkiny than I thought but I'm startin to like it. However I'm only painting one wall this color and the rest will be a tanish brown....but I have a question and I want some different point of views....The wall that has my front door on it will be painted brown but what do I do with the door? Do I paint it brown as well or leave it white? I don't know what to do....HELP me!!! oh and don't worry we're getting rid of the white trim and replacing it with this really cool wood we found, so I don't think the orange will pop out as much if it doesn't have white right next to it.
